Monday I felt much better than I did on Sunday, though still not great. I went to Scouts in the evening to hand off the health forms for Scout camp.

Tuesday I felt better, but the anesthesia from getting my loose filling fixed took me down a few notches in the afternoon. On the plus side, there wasn’t massive decay that needed to be drilled out since I had to wait three weeks to get it filled. on the negative side, the dentist said it probably failed because I’ve been clenching my teeth more lately and as long as I continue to do so, the pressure will destroy my fillings. I gotta work on that.

At karate we did sparring and it was my first time in full gear that I didn’t have a panic attack! I still didn’t love having the helmet on, but I also wasn’t freaking out and feeling claustrophobic, so definitely a win.

After we returned home from class I went over the dog care merit badge with a local Scout. He’d tried to send me videos of the required things, but they weren’t sending, so they stopped by our house since they live nearby.

Tuesday I realized I was supposed to up the dosage of my new narcolepsy meds to the full amount (we gradually stepped me up to try to eliminate as many problems as possible) on Monday, so I made the change Wednesday morning.

After my accountability call I realized that the meds are behind the tachycardia I’ve been having- my heart rate issues had mostly calmed down Monday and Tuesday, but were back with a vengeance on Wednesday, which left me laying down as much as possible to try to keep my heart rate even.

Thursday I skipped karate class, though Jeremy took Sunshine since she’s finishing up her requirements this week. I still had to lay down all day, though I did sit up long enough to attend a troop committee meeting via zoom.

Friday was another day in bed. I borrowed Jeremy’s blood pressure cuff- it’s not just my heart rate that spikes, it’s also my blood pressure. The two combined make me feel less than wonderful, especially if I do any amount of exertion.

Jeremy took the kids to karate and Sunshine got her last attendance stripe and passed her tests.

Saturday Jeremy took the boys to run errands and I took Sunshine to karate to turn in some paperwork that she’d forgotten on Friday that she needed to turn in to graduate.

I spent most of the rest of the day in bed, though my heart rate and blood pressure issues were slightly improved.

Sunday I finally managed to make it to church after missing the last 5 Sundays. It was definitely good to be back, though I did have to spend the afternoon in bed.
