Anyway, he’d come in to my room while I was laying in bed sick and he told me “I will always give you snuggles for the rest of my life!”
Jeremy interjected “Well, the rest of mommy’s life anyway.”
Me: “That’s true, you can’t give me snuggles once I’m dead, sorry.”
Also me, after waiting a beat: “You’re not going to be like your older brother, who won’t give me snuggles, huh?”
He nodded and I prompted him “Say ‘no, I won’t'”
Ocean: “I will never, ever be like my brother.”
Jeremy and me: “Well, you can be like him in some respects, just not in the refusing to give mommy snuggles, ok?”
Ocean: “Ok.”
