About 12 years ago, Jeremy was being a smart aleck and asked his grandma how they fixed mistakes when chiseling into stone when there wasn’t whiteout or anything. His other grandma whacked him upside the head for being impertinent. A couple days later, he asked the same grandma what it was like to watch the first steam engine roll into town. Repeat of head whacking.
Genetics are strong, and when he shared this story with Sunshine, she said he should ask grandma what it was like to hear first-hand the story of the first vision from Joseph Smith.
Unfortunately, head-whacking grandma passed years ago, but I’m sure his mom or I will be happy to step into her shoes if needed.
